Summer Fun!

Playing in the pool in our backyard - a great way to cool off (and boy does it get HOT)!

Playing water ball catch with Dad.

We made a cake, just for fun. We got a funfetti (appropriate) cake, and Jace helped me make it and he especially helped with the decorating. He was very excited about the sprinkles.

Ready to hit the ball. He's actually a pretty impressively good baseball player. He can hit the ball way more often than I can, and this isn't one of those big fat bats made for kids either, but he's got great aim. He's a natural at most sports, since he has great balance, patience, eye-hand coordination and aim (all of the things that I am awful at - he's been better than me for a year or so now).

Jace and Dad playing baseball in the backyard - this is one of Jace's favorite things to do!

Our Trip

Well, for anyone who doesn't already know, Jace and I (Thomas couldn't get off work) took a trip to Las Vegas and St. George a couple of weeks ago. We flew to Vegas and visited my Grandma Betty and my aunt and uncle and cousins and then we drove our rental car to St. George, Utah to visit my Grandma Cay. We had a great time, it was very nice getting to visit, especially since it has been years since I'd been there, and Jace never had. Jace LOVED flying in the airplane, even though he did get sick on the way there (even with dramamine). He was ecstatic about everything that involved traveling, flying, the shuttles and trams, the baggage claim, the escalators, everything. Here are some pics from our trip!
